Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking (2024)

Hosts James and Oliver Phelps welcome eight pairs of talented pastry wizards to the Great Hall, and with the help of the Sorting Hat, assign the teams into the four Hogwarts Houses. The bakers are challenged to create a massive showpiece that is inspired by their assigned house, and the teammates must collaborate to make one tasting element. Expert culinary judges Carla Hall and Jozef Youssef decide which bakers will move on to the next challenge.

Baking meets the bubbling world of transfiguration as the five remaining teams find themselves in the Potions classroom. Inspired by Polyjuice Potion, hosts James and Oliver Phelps challenge the bakers to recreate two items from the Harry Potter world, such as a Nimbus 2001 broom or Beater's Bats, as hyperrealistic edible showpieces. The teams start to crack under the pressure as one pair uses the Devil's Snare penalty to tie up the competition. Judges Carla Hall and Jozef Youssef decide which team made the most convincing and delicious edible artifact.

Hosts James and Oliver Phelps challenge the baking teams to create supersized iconic Harry Potter artifacts that reveal something from within. For the tasting element, the teams are assigned a flavor of Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans, featuring baked beans, curry, marshmallow, toast and even grass. Special guest Afshan Azad, who played Padma Patil in the Harry Potter films, joins judges Carla Hall and Jozef Youssef.

The semifinals kick off inside the legendary Gringotts Wizarding Bank, where hosts James and Oliver Phelps ask the remaining four baking teams to create showpieces that magically bring an iconic Harry Potter creature to life. The fantastical creations must also include a bold smoky or spicy tasting element inspired by the Hungarian Horntail. Special guest Warwick Davis, who played Professor Flitwick in the Harry Potter films, joins judges Carla Hall and Jozef Youssef to decide which teams move on to the grand finale.

For the final showdown in the illustrious Great Hall, hosts James and Oliver Phelps challenge the three baking teams to create showpieces celebrating the Goblet of Fire. The epic creations are presented to a crowd of Harry Potter superfans. Guest judges Warwick Davis, Afshan Azad and Devon Murray return to join Carla Hall and Jozef Youssef to award the trophy and crown the Wizards of Baking champions.
