An Abuela is always prepared to feed unexpected guests; cooks Sheniel, Renee and Daniel make croquetas for friends who stop by; for the final round, the cooks and Abuela must create a meal for the last-minute visitors using only leftovers.

A family member is moving from Texas to Miami; cooks Andrea, Christian and Michel recreate iconic Tex-Mex meals for the going-away party; one cook makes an early departure; the remaining two cooks compete against Abuela, making Cuban dishes.

Love is in the air during an engagement party; to make the Peruvian groom feel welcome, cooks Lorena, Iyari and Douglas make ceviche; two cooks battle Abuela in the final round, fixing different cuts of meat for the Argentinian bride.

It's Sunday, and cooks Melody, Florencia and Marina face off in an arepa challenge; the remaining cooks and Abuela prepare a family Sunday dinner, but it won't be easy; cooking for a large family's is never easy, especially with last-minute requests.
